Turn ordinary photos into grungy looking artwork.

  1. To begin, start Adobe Photoshop and open a picture into Photoshop.

  2. Duplicate the layer by pressing Ctrl+J and set the blending mode for the new layer to Overlay.

  3. Select the new layer and then press Ctrl+L to open the levels tool. In the levels Photoshop tool, move the middle slider all the way to the very right then click OK.

  4. Now go to Filter> Blur> Motion Blur. This Photoshop filter will blur the details in any angle you want. Pick an angle that you like and then adjust the amount. The settings you use here will affect the final results.
